The ASCEND program has been created to address one of the key gaps that employers identify in their new hires: soft skills. ASCEND will help you identify what soft skills are so that you are confident in how to best apply them in your job search and the workplace. It will also provide direct insight into Canadian employer expectations.
The blended version of the program consists of 7 Online modules accompanied by 6 live workshops, organized by our partner organizations. The duration of this course is 12 weeks. All essential information is delivered in the online modules and the workshops focus on developing practical skills. As such it is designed to focus on discussion and experiential learning activities.
